We love sharing Before and After pictures of our custom painted furniture. It’s amazing what a fresh paint job can do. All of our pieces are sourced through places like Craigslist, the Salvation Army, the road side, garage sales, etc. We look for pieces that are structurally sound but need a fresh new beginning.
We found this 1950’s Lane cedar chest through a Facebook garage sale site and immediately fell in love. I wasn’t exactly sure what we were going to do at first, but after doing some searches for inspiration, we decided on painting her white before adding glaze and also updating the hardware with a brushed bronze.
